The making of Fabriq

A Journey of One Man’s Passion

Nearly two decades ago, fate brought me into the realm of a remarkable and visionary man, named Bill Wesnousky, CEO of Fabriq Pavilion, Inc. . I was just beginning to fall in love with the world of 3d via my background in architectural design and fine art. Bill was searching for someone who could bring his visionary concept to life. Without knowing it, he was ahead of his time in foretelling the enthusiasm for the world of glamping. Yet, even more so, his beautiful tensile structure design that he named “Fabriq”, would take that concept beyond the typical and most mundane look of rough yurts and basic tents and make it a piece of art because that is how Bill saw it. Not “just” as a structure but an actual work of art, that, through this period, I’ve now attempted to convey in his renderings. So, over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with him in envisioning the many ways his unique tensile could be used: from corporate events, music concerts, galas, yoga retreats, luxury ADU’s, pool cabanas, spiritual services, and then even further by expanding the selections of his design to luxury glamping resorts. In this series, you’ll see Fabriq in all the of the aforementioned forms as well as conceptual resorts on the Big Sur Coast and along the shores of Dubai.
